Abstrak

Edukasi kesehatan kardiovaskular pada usia remaja penting untuk memperkuat pengetahuan mengenai faktor risiko yang dapat dimodifikasi dan penerapan gaya hidup sehat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta didik mengenai kesehatan kardiovaskular melalui edukasi berbasis komunitas di Pondok Pesantren Zainul Hasan Genggong, Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 6 Juni 2026 dan melibatkan 50 santri. Intervensi berupa edukasi kesehatan secara langsung yang dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran pengetahuan melalui pretest dan posttest segera setelah kegiatan. Perubahan skor pengetahuan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik berpasangan. Distribusi data diperiksa sebelum dilakukan uji statistik, dan uji Wilcoxon signed-rank digunakan karena distribusi perubahan skor tidak memenuhi asumsi normalitas. Rerata skor pengetahuan meningkat dari 90,0 sebelum edukasi menjadi 97,4 setelah edukasi, dengan perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik (p < 0,001). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan edukasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta segera setelah sesi edukasi. Namun, karena skor pengetahuan awal peserta sudah relatif tinggi dan evaluasi dilakukan segera setelah intervensi tanpa kelompok pembanding, hasil ini tidak dapat diinterpretasikan sebagai bukti adanya perubahan perilaku jangka panjang. Edukasi kesehatan kardiovaskular berbasis komunitas di lingkungan pesantren dapat menjadi strategi awal untuk memperkuat pengetahuan santri, sedangkan kegiatan selanjutnya perlu mencakup evaluasi tindak lanjut untuk menilai retensi pengetahuan dan perubahan perilaku terkait kesehatan.
